Eileen Culligan (née Smith), Stoney Road, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and formerly Drummuck, Stradone, Co. Cavan, 12th May 2025. Peacefully at Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and John, her sister Anna May and brother Benny.

Sadly, missed by her heartbroken husband John and her son Jonathan and daughter-in-law Eileen, her adored grandchildren Sean Óg, Cuán and Aoileann, sisters Madge, Bridie and Kathleen, brothers, John, Andy and Phil, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, special neighbours and close friends.

Brendan Keaney, Crubany, Cavan, Co. Cavan, Tuesday May 13th peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff of Lisdarn Unit. Pre-deceased by his parents Terence, Julia, and son-in-law Kevin Smith.

Loving husband of Patricia for 52 years and father of Olivia (Kevin R.I.P), Damien (Clare), Therese (Pauric), Fiona (Maurice), and Cathal (Megan).

Sadly missed by his wife, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, and his loving grandchildren, Áine, Niamh, Michael, Cian, Finn, Mia, Eva, Isla, Oisín, Tomás, Paidí, Molly, Tadhg, Shay, Eira. Ceoladh, and Neala.

Reposing at the family home in Crubany, Cavan (H12WOD1) Wednesday 14th from 4pm to 8pm (family break from 6pm-6:30pm)

Parking will be provided at Killygarry football club grounds.

Requiem Mass on Thursday 15th in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, at 2pm followed by burial in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry.

Family flowers only please; donations in lieu to Lisdarn Unit for the Elderly, care of Declan Finnegan Funeral Director or any family member.

Bartley Lynch

Grousehall, Killydoon, Loughduff, Cavan

Bartley died on Tuesday 13th May 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Margaret, sister Annie and brother Seamus.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, daughters Ann Marie (Declan), Margaret (Paudie), Eddie (Zara), Barry and Ray (Michelle), brothers Paddy, Fr. Eamonn, Leo and Peter, sister Mary, and his cherished grandchildren, sister's in law, brother's in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his son Eddie and daughter in law Zara's home (H12K611) on Wednesday from 2pm. until 9 pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, Loughduff (H12F968) at 12 noon. Internment afterwards in local cemetery.

Please note the family will take a short break on Wednesday from 4.30 pm. to 5pm.

Rose O'Reilly

(née Clarke)

Ballinamoney, Bailieborough, Cavan, A82KD26

The death has occurred of Rose O’Reilly (née Clarke), Ballinamoney, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan died on the 13th May 2025 peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Predeceased by her parents Eileen and Matt, her brothers P.J. and Denis, and her sister Mary.

Beloved wife of Jack and cherished mother to Damien (Tricia), Francis (Louise), Louise (Declan), Raymond (Joanne), and Deborah (Garret). She will be deeply missed by her 15 adored grandchildren.

Rose will be sadly missed by her sisters Nuala, Geraldine, Colette, Martina, Claire, and Carmel, her brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence (A82 KD26) on Wednesday 14th May from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Thursday 15th May at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Tierworker (A82 WE03), followed by burial in Moybologue Cemetery (New).

Eamon passed away suddenly. Late of Bryanlitter, Eircode H18 HD98. Loving husband of Christine. Devoted father of Janette, Lisa (Smith), Niall, Mark and Darren. Grandfather of Finn, Darragh, Shay, Hunter, Cooper, Holly, Lucy, Layla, Alessa, Ciara, Kailyn and Chloe. Brother of John and Mary (Winters).

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law Alexis and Tina, son-in-law Paul, grandchildren, brother, sister, brothers-in-law Kevin, Seamus, Damien and Seamus, sisters-in-law Rosie, Mollie, Margaret, Sadie, Pauline and Emma, nieces and nephews and the entire Rooney and Finnegan family circle.
