Our local community is at the heart of everything we do at Mannok, and it is a privilege to support an event dedicated to celebrating individuals and groups who make a meaningful impact within the Cavan community. The Anglo-Celt Community & Sports Awards provide the perfect platform to acknowledge these remarkable contributions, aligning seamlessly with Mannok’s core values and ethos.

As one of the largest employers in the Cavan, Fermanagh and surrounding border areas, Mannok is proud to support the local economy with a team of approximately 800 employees.

For more than 50 years, Mannok has built a legacy as one of the most successful manufacturers of building and food packaging products in the UK and Ireland. Our reputation for delivering industry-leading, sustainable solutions is founded on cutting-edge technology and world-class facilities located on the Fermanagh-Cavan border.

Mannok’s acquisition by Çimsa, a building materials subsidiary of Turkish conglomerate Sabanci Holdings, has increased investment opportunities for the company; while also retaining its commitment to supporting the local area in which it is deeply rooted.

At Mannok we recognise our responsibility to contribute to the long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability of the region. This commitment is central to our vision and values, which are captured in Mannok 2030 Vision – our Sustainability Strategy. The strategy is built on three key pillars: People, Planet, and Partners.

We are heavily invested in the local community, striving to create a sustainable future for the region. One of our flagship initiatives includes five themed educational partnerships with local schools. Notably, our collaboration with St Patrick’s College in Cavan has led to the creation of a Digital Innovation Hub, providing students with blended learning opportunities and career insights in computer science.

This initiative addresses the challenge of 'brain drain’, where young talent leaves the region in search of better opportunities. By fostering talent and supporting local employment, we are helping to ensure the sustainability of both our organisation and the community.

Mannok’s community engagement extends beyond education, and we actively support a wide range of community groups, events, and charitable initiatives.
