Patchy rain to start but brighter later

Saturday will be cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle to start, but expect some brighter spells in northern and eastern parts before more persistent rain moves up from the southwest during the afternoon.
“It will become increasingly breezy too, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds developing. Humid with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees,” says Met Eireann.
Saturday night will see a mix of clear spells and scattered showers, with a few heavy ones possible in the northwest early in the night.
Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with a moderate to fresh southwesterly to west wind.
