Mass rock pilgrimage to take place

Parishioners wishing to walk can meet at the Church in Belturbet (12km) at 11.15am.

As part of the Jubilee Year of Hope celebrations, and to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the first Mass in Shannow Wood Mass rock since Penal Times, Annagh Parish host a Pilgrimage of Hope on Sunday, May 25.

Parishioners are invited to join in a ‘pilgrimage’ from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet, to Redhills where Mass will be celebrated at 3pm.

Parishioners wishing to walk can meet at the Church in Belturbet (12km) at 11.15am, Drumalee Church (7.5km) at 12noon, Gannons Cross (6km) at 12.30pm, or Redhills Village (2km) at 1.15pm where they will all proceed to Killoughter Hall for refreshments prior to Mass at 3pm.

Transport will be provided for the return trip to Belturbet and along the way for those unable to complete the full journey.

Those unable to participate in the pilgrimage walk are also most welcome to join for Mass at 3pm.
