Republic of Ireland international Caoimhín Kelleher has hinted at a summer move away from Liverpool.

The Cork native was part of the celebrations on Sunday as the Merseyside club lifted the Premier League trophy at Anfield.

Kelleher - who made 10 league appearances this season - says he wants to play more first team football.

Speaking to Optus Sport after the game, Kelleher said while it was great to win something with the club this season, he "feels like he is a No 1."

"It is obviously really special (today), it was a nice atmosphere with the whole crowd and I made a few appearances, so it is nice to win something at the end of the season."

When asked if he is looking to play more, he said: "Yeah I have said it before I feel like a No 1 and I am good enough to play week and week out, so that is what I am looking to do obviously."

Kelleher made 20 appearances for Arne Slot’s side in all competitions this season due to the Alisson’s injury issues, keeping nine clean sheets.

With Liverpool signing of Valencia's Giorgi Mamardashvili in the 2024 summer transfer window, the Irishman could end up being third choice at Liverpool if he decides to stay.

Kelleher joined Liverpool's academy from Ringmahon Rangers A.F.C. in Cork in the summer of 2015. Since then, he has made 25 apperances in the Premier League for the club.

The 26-year-old won the Champions League back in 2019 as a unused sub, won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup back in 2022.
