Lena Costello (née McDonald), Redhills Village, Co.Cavan, 29th May, peacefully at College View Nursing Home, in her 95th year, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of College View Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard (Benny), parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Madeline (Michael), Vincent (Vivienne), Kieran (Evelyn), Cliona (Seamus), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Nora, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in Eternal peace.
Remains reposing in St Brigid’s Church, Killoughter, Redhills (H14V104) this Friday evening from 6pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

(nee Ryan) of Trim and Maperath, Kells, Co. Meath formerly Mullagh, Co. Cavan.
Surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her devoted husband Tom, her parents Anna and Tom Ryan, her brothers Tom and Andrew.

Philip Brady, Mullinavarnogue, Redhills, Co. Cavan, H14EA24 and formerly of Philip Brady Menswear, 89 Main Street, Cavan.
It is with deep sadness that we announce his death, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, and in the excellent care of the staff in Medical 1. Predeceased by his parents, his nephew Seán and his grandson Theo.
Philip will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend Rosemary, his son Shane (Sarah), his daughters Sinéad (Conor), Caoimhe (Cormac), Derbhla (Ciarán), his much adored grandchildren Pearse, Tadhg, Laoise Páidí, Callie, Ríadh and Ayda, his sisters Vera and Philomena, his brother TJ (Patricia), his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and his many special friends.

on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Sunday to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Killoughter (H14V104) for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
House private to family, neighbours and close friends outside of reposing hours please.

The death has occurred of John Patrick (J.P.) Cooney, Cornasaus, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Woodlands Nursing Home, Navan, 29th May 2025.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Margaret and his brothers. Deeply regretted by his brothers Benny, Gerry, and Noel, his sisters Teresa and May and his nephew Alan. Sadly missed by his extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

Charlie Donnelly Derryoaks, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan and formerly of Cabra, Co.Tyrone.
Charlie Donnelly passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of staff at Cavan General Hospital on May 28th. Beloved husband of Frances and much-loved father of Rina, Arlene, Charles and Dan.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents James and Moira Donnelly, his sister Ann and brother Thomas (in infancy).
Charlie is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, and grandchildren, Ríona, Sean, Darragh, Caoilinn, Jack, Cait, Alex, Sinéad and Niamh, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends across Ireland, Hong Kong, London and Boston.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Friday from 4.00pm until prayers at 5.30pm. Removal from Lakelands Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to St Michael’s Church, Potahee, to arrive for 11.00am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Predeceased by her sister Sr. Angela (Daughters of Charity) and his nephew Dennis.
