Cavan multi-storey open on Sunday for match-day traffic

THE completely renovated multi-storey car park in Cavan Town is to open early for traffic going to the Cavan-Donegal match this Sunday.

The official opening day for the multi-storey in the centre of the town is this coming Tuesday, June 3 but, Cavan County Council have made the decision to open it for one day only especially for match-day traffic.

Parking on that day will also be free.

Cavan County Council says: “This is an excellent opportunity to see this bright, spacious, modernised facility while cheering on Cavan”.

Kingspan Breffni Park is hosting the senior football championship match between Cavan and Donegal with throw-in at 2pm on Sunday, June 1.

As always, large support is expected for both the home and visiting teams for the exciting round 2 fixture.

To accommodate the crowds, the multi-storey will open between 12 noon and 6pm with match-goers advised to access the car park from the Dublin Road side.
