PV McCabe
Pollereagh, Mountnugent, Cavan
The death has occurred of P.V McCabe Pollereagh, Mountnugent, Co.Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on the 2nd June 2025. Predeceased by his parents Josie and Julia, brothers Andy, Mickey, Donnie, Seamy, sisters Kathy, Eileen and Geraldine.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his wife Chris, daughters Patricia and Jacinta, son’s in law Tommy and Liam, much-loved grandchildren Ciana, Oran, Blathnaid, Niamh and Sean. P.V is deeply regretted by his brother Gene, sisters Shelia, Marion and Anna, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody’s Funeral Home, The Green, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Tuesday evening from 5:30pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Mountnugent with burial afterwards in St.Mary's Cemetery, Crosserlough.
House private to family, neighbours and friends only please. Family flowers only with donations if desired to Cavan Palliative Care and Medical Five, Cavan General Hospital care of undertaker Sean McBride or any family member.

Peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his family. Cared for by the wonderful staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Jane Anne (nee Dolan), devoted father to Eugene (Niamh) and Liam (Erica) and loving Grandfather to Baby Luke.
Pre-Deceased by his parents and brothers Hugh, Tom and Sonny.
Sorely missed by his brothers Oliver (Belturbet) and Kevin (Kinlough) sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and his many friends and neighbours.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Smith's funeral home, High St Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim (N41 TD62) this Tuesday evening June 3rd from 6:00p.m until 8:00p.m
Remains arriving at St. Mogue's Church, Bawnboy on Wednesday for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PJ Lambe
Dunoge, Carrickmacross, Monaghan
The death has occurred of PJ Lambe. Dunoge, Carrickmacross. 2nd June 2025. Unexpectedly, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by his parents James & Kathleen.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family; his beloved wife Betty, his son James and his daughters Emma (Noel) and Rachel (Ronan), his much-loved grandson Niall, his brothers Padraig, Larry & Martin, his extended family, friends & neighbours.
MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
PJ will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Tuesday, 3rd June, from 3pm until 8pm.
PJ's funeral cortège will leave his home, Dunoge, on Wednesday, 4th June, proceeding on foot via the Pound, the Bridewell & Main Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
