Kathleen McGlynn

(née Lynch)

Dublin Road, Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Kathleen McGlynn (née Lynch), Dublin Road, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Corlea, Kingscourt, peacefully in her 94th year, surrounded by her family, 15th June 2025.

Predeceased by her husband Conn, her brothers John and Tom, and her sister Bridie. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Marion, Bernadette, Philomena, and Annette, son-in-law Michael, brothers Eamonn and Benny and sister Eileen. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Rest in Peace

Kathleen will repose at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Kingscourt (A82R3W2) on Wednesday, 18th June from 4pm to 7pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning, 19th June, arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.

Eileen Smith

(née White)

Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell, Cavan

The death has occurred of Eileen Smith, (née White), Ballyhugh, Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, 14th June 2025. Peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin and surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents George and Bridget.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Dermot, daughter Denise, son Robert, son-in-law Aidan, daughter-in-law Anne Marie, adored grandchildren Ellen, Emmet, Gretta and Bobby, brothers Willie, Johnny and Gerry, sister Catherine, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Eileen will arrive to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Belturbet this Monday evening (16th June) for 7pm.

Funeral mass on Tuesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Staghall cemetery.

Harold passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Mary and loving Father of Sharon, Lorraine, Ashley and Allistair.

Father in law of Myles, Martin, Sandra and Helene. Devoted Grandfather of Laura, Kyle, Jane, Sarah, David, Alan and Lucas. Sister Renie and Brother Cecil, Nieces, Nephews and entire family circle.

Resting at his home in Killycracken, callers welcome Sunday 15th from 4pm to 8pm and Monday 16th 4pm to 8pm,

Funeral service on Tuesday 17th June in Frankford Presbyterian Church A75FY88, at 2 pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard.

Winnie (Winifred) Kelly née Kernan, Monaghan Road, Castleblayney, Saturday 14th June 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eddie, son Gerry, daughter Brigid, daughter-in-law, Moira and granddaughter baby Rose.

Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her daughter, Teresa (Michael), cherished grandchildren, Nicola, Edward, John, Diane, Áine, Sinéad, Michelle and Emma, nieces, nephews , extended family, neighbours and friends.

Winnie will repose at her home on Sunday from 2pm until 7 pm with house private to family and friends at all other times please.

Family Flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Castleblayney Cancer Society or by donation box.

Removal on Monday morning at 10:30 am arriving for funeral mass at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery where Winnie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Eddie and daughter Brigid.

and formerly Killymonaghan, Castleshane, June 13th 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Drogheda.

Predeceased by her parents James and Minnie, her brother Brian and her sister Susan.

Sadly missed by her cousins, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday (14/06/2025) and from 12 noon until 3 p.m. on Sunday (15/06/2025) .

Removal on Sunday at 6.30 p.m., arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Clontibret at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Monday (16/06/2025) at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
