Costica Danut Baba

Tullyinchin, Tullyco, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Costica Danut Baba, Tullyinchin, Tullyco, Cootehill, Co.Cavan and formerly of Romania. Died Suddenly Sunday 22nd June 2025.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family in Romania, work colleagues in Kiernan's pig farm and his neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan (H12RF78) Wednesday evening 25th June from 5.30pm concluding with prayers at 7pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Carrickallen, Mountain Lodge for committal prayers and burial, arriving at approximately 7.45pm.

Laurence (Larry) Donoghue

2 Dowth Avenue, Cabra, Dublin, D07N6K5 / Mullagh, Cavan / Meath

The death has occurred of Laurence (Larry) Donoghue 2 Dowth Avenue, Cabra, Dublin 7 and late of Mullagh Co. Cavan.

Peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful medical and nursing staff of

St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park, Dublin, 23rd June 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Peggy) brother Peter, sister Mary and his grandson Stephen.

Sadly missed by his loving daughters Ann, Teresa, Gillian, sons, Peter, Patrick, Laurence, Anthony and Richard, daughters in-law, son in-law, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his Residence (D07N6K5) Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.

Removal from Residence at 4.45pm to arrive at Christ the King Church Cabra (D07N2Y1) at 5pm for evening prayers.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am which can be viewed here, followed by burial in St Mary's Cemetery Moynalty arriving at approximately 12.30pm.

Evelyn (Maud) Hall

(née Roundtree)

Drumeague House, Bailieborough, Cavan

Evelyn (Maud) Hall nee Roundtree, Drumeague House, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 24th June 2025 peacefully surrounded by her family at Fairlawn's Nursing Home, Bailieborough. Predeceased by her husband Lexie, brother Johnny, sisters Emma, Gladys, Eva and Sadie.

Lovingly remembered by her sons Adrian, Neville and Kenneth, sister Muriel, daughters-in-law Heather and Shirley, sisters-in-law Vera and Sheila, grandchildren Daniel, Lauren, Jessica, Ellen, Morgan, Amy and Glen, nieces, nephews, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.

Resting at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Thursday 26th June from 5pm - 8pm. Removal from her residence on Friday at 2:45pm to arrive at Corglass Presbyterian Church for Funeral Service at 3pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Thomas (Tom) Murphy

15 Cortolvin Road, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Murphy, 15 Cortolvin Road, Monaghan, Tuesday the 24th June, peacefully surrounded by his heartbroken family in Cavan General Hospital.

"May His Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace"

Tom will be forever loved by his wife Mary, daughters Michelle, Caroline (Raymond) and sons Maurice and Stephen. He will be sorely missed by his cherished grandchildren Jack, Nathan and Milly, his brothers Ben (Bernie) and Hugh, his nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Tom will repose at his home on Wednesday, and visitors are welcome all day. Tom's funeral procession will leave his family home on Thursday morning at 10:15am to arrive to St. Macartans Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the Old Graveyard, Laturcan.
