Michael Finnegan
Banaho, Carrickaboy, Cavan
Michael Finnegan, (retired fruit and veg wholesaler), Banaho, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan. Friday June 27th, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan.
Sadly missed by his loving brothers and sisters, Teresa Callaghan, Maura (Seamus O'Reilly), Martin (Mary; Mayo), Pauline (Michael Dinneny), Oliver (Philomena), Loreto (Michael Kearns), Bernadette (Pauric Reilly) and Declan (Teresa), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at his home in Banaho on Saturday June 28th from 12.00 noon until 3.00pm and at Lakelands Funeral, Home, Dublin Road, Cavan Saturday evening from 5.00pm until 9.00pm.
Removal from his home on Sunday at 1.30pm to St Dympna’s Church Lower Lavey for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

(née Dunne)
6 St Phelim's Place, Cavan Town, Cavan / Offaly
Thursday 26th June 2025, peacefully in her 92nd year in the loving care of the staff at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. Co. Offaly. Pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Kate, her beloved husband Richard (Dickie), her brothers Anthony, Brendan and Desmond. Devoted mother of Joe, Bernadette and Richard. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Una, son-in-law Michael (Smyth), her adored grandchildren Stephen, Niamh, David and Jessica, great grandchilden Benjamin and Elisa, her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Imelda will be Reposing at Lawless' Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village, Co. Offaly (R35 C5P6) on Sunday 29th June 2025 from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm and Later in Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12 C821) on Sunday 29th from 7:00pm until 9:00 pm. Removal on Monday 30th June 2025 to the Cathedral of St. Patrick and St. Felim via Wolfe Tone Street for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial afterwards in family plot in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry.

Thomas Kevin Greenan
Riverdale Court, Knockthomas, Castlebar, Mayo / Castleblayney, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Thomas Kevin Greenan, Riverdale Court, Knockthomas, Castlebar and formerly of Corracharra Shantonagh, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully on 24th June 2025, at his home.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary (née Reilly) and his brother Francis (U.K) and sister Mary Reynolds (New Jersey, USA).
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary Ann née Hopkins (a native of Crimlin, Ross, Castlebar), his sons Terence, Thomas, Michael Francis (Frank) and John Joseph, his beloved grandchildren Séan and Conor, his brothers Patrick (Paddy) Galway, his sister Bridie Talt, (New Jersey, USA), his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends.
Tom worked for a number of years in London before returning to Ireland where he worked on the outdoor staff of Mayo County Council.

Tom will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Sunday 29th June from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Removal from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Monday 30th June at 10.30 am, arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Afterwards, Tom will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed here or it can be listened to in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3fm.
