July 4th 2025 suddenly at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Will be deeply missed by his son Stephen, daughter Anita, grandchildren Shane, Scott and Alex, and by all his family and friends.

Resting at Lakelands funeral home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) on Thursday evening from 6:00p.m until 8:00p.m. Funeral service in celebration of Stephen's life to be held in Lakelands Funeral Home on Friday at 12 noon followed by cremation.

Laura Boyle

(née Morton)

Malahide, Dublin / Ballyconnell, Cavan

Boyle, Laura (née Morton) -8th July 2025, (Malahide and formerly of Ballyconnell, County Cavan), peacefully in the care of staff at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Laura will be very sadly missed by her beloved husband Norman, children Ian and Julie, grandchildren Christopher, Lucy and Ethan, daughter-in-law Jennifer, son-in-law Brian, brother Stanley, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

"May her gentle soul rest in peace."

Monday July 7th.

Richard passed away peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Pre-deceased by his parents, sister and brother in law in Surrey, UK.

Richard is sadly missed by his heart broken wife Anne and children John (Sharon Woods), Clare (Metin Uludag), Fiona (Bernard McPhillips), Catriona (Scott Trayford) and Diane, grandchildren, Alanah, Kilara, Aaron, Elif, Megan, Holly, Liam and Dylan, sister and brother in law Rose and Frank McKiernan, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Cavan H12 RF78 on Wednesday 9th from 6-8pm. Funeral mass Thursday 10th at 12 noon in St Felim's Church, Ballinagh, followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd, Cavan.

The family would like to thank all the carer's who looked after Richard at home over the last few years. Also to all the staff in Surgical 1, Cavan General Hospital for the care they provided to Richard in the last few days.

Margaret Connolly

Dyan, Smithboro, Monaghan, H18H026

The death has occurred of Mags Connolly, Dyan, Smithboro, Co Monaghan, and formerly Coretard, Threemilehouse, Monday 7th July, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Monaghan Hospital. Predeceased by her father Joe, her sister Dympna, and her parents-in- law Joe and Mary Connolly.

Mags will be forever loved and cherished by her husband Harry, her sons Declan (Natalie), Paul and Adrian (Aisling), her much loved grandchildren Eva, Georgia, Sophia, Isla and Fiadh, her heartbroken mother Lily ,her sisters Ann (Frank Toal) & Geraldine (Brendan Toal) and her brother Seamus, her nieces, nephews, family and close friends will cherish the fond memories that they have of her.

Mags will repose at her home on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 9pm and on Wednesday from 3pm until 9pm. Her funeral procession will leave her home on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Magherarney for 11am Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking the "Funeral Service" button below. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Oncology Unit in Cavan General Hospital & the Stepdown Unit in Monaghan Hospital c/o Clerkins Funeral Home or any family member.
