It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan, as reported on RIP.ie
Kevin Flynn
Celbridge, Kildare / Blacklion, Cavan
FLYNN, Kevin (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Blacklion, Co. Cavan and Dublin Fire Brigade) July 9th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Much loved husband of Kay (Catherine), cherished Dad of Caroline, Olga, Áibhín, and the late Sinéad and wonderful grandad of Clodagh, Sinéad, Danielle, Dylan, Myles, Emma, and the late Michael. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife and children, grandchildren, sons-in-law Mick and Chris, Clodagh’s husband Connor, brothers Frankie, John, Dessie, and Eamonn, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Celbridge on Saturday evening (July 12th) between 4pm and 7pm. House private thereafter. Removal from his home on Monday morning (July 14th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.

Lukas Jarmalavicius
Gowna, Cavan
It is with deep sadness that Lukas's family announce his death on Wed July 9th, after a short illness. Sadly missed by his mother Jolita, father Darius, brother Eimantas and sisters Skaiste and Monika, his partner Gabija, his aunts Angele, Dana, Reda and Migle and uncle Nerijus Zigutis and Grandfather Gediminas Zigutis, his cousins, his many friends and best friend Sean Carroll
Lukas will repose for public viewing at Lakelands Funeral Home (H12 RF78) on Sat 12th July from 11am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6pm. Lukas will leave the funeral home at 1pm on Sun 13th July to arrive at 2pm in the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna (H12 FT54) for requiem mass followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium (H12 RF78) at 4pm.

James (Jim) Holland
Arbutus Ave., Renmore, Galway / Emyvale, Monaghan / Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon
James, passed peacefully on the 8th July in the wonderful care of The Galway Hospice.
Pre-deceased by his son Paul, his sister Ann (Barrett) and his brothers Tommy, John and Francis.
Beloved husband of Nancy and dearly loved father of Anita, Martin and Theresa.
James will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his grandchildren Char, Fionn, Ivo, Ailbhe, Eliza and Beatrice, sons-in-law John and Grant, sister Bridie, brother Tony, extended family, neighbours and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of The Galway Hospice and of St. Anne’s Ward in UHG for the care given to James in his final weeks.

Funeral Arrangements:
Friday 11th July - Reposing in Áras Naofa in the grounds of St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore from 5pm. Removal to adjoining church at 6.30pm.
Saturday 12th July - Requiem mass in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore at 11am.
Sunday 13th July - A private cremation service will take place in Shannon Crematorium.
