Belturbet Watersports provide wonderful opportunities for people of all ages to hone their skills in canoes, row boats and on paddle boards and Tommy McMahon says it happens on the River Erne every Thursday, just after 6pm.

There is also Canadian canoeing, which accommodate twelve people and of course the stand-up paddle boarding is also proving very popular. Others enjoy the row the challenge of rowing boats.

Tommy McMahon revealed that up to 40 people participate in the various activities each week.

“The sun is shining gloriously here this evening and everyone is smiling and it is heartening to witness it,” said Tommy.

Coach Marcus Mundy travels down from Bundoran weekly to provide take sessions on the water for all the participants.

“He provides a very high standard of coaching and gets on very well with all the young people and they all enjoy his dedicated input,” Tommy said.
