Cockapoo amongst the rosettes

Newcomer to showing dogs, Sarah Fitzpatrick from Milltown was delighted her gorgeous Cockapoo was amongst the red rosette winners at Virginia Show.

Ten year old Sarah claimed first prize with her beautiful dog, appropriately called Bella, in the Under 17 Handlers class. It's quite the achievement for 10 year old Sarah, who has only taken up showing her dog this summer.

"My auntie told me, when I'm doing it to make sure she walks with her head up and her tail up," she explained of a helpful tip.

Surprisingly she had two previous owners before she found her forever home with the Milltown family going on two years ago.

"I'm very happy with her, she's definitely a showdog," enthused Sarah of young Bella.

"This is only her second show and that's three rosettes. I brought her to Arva where she won first in non-pedigree mixed breed and second in best groomed."
