Line-up for Ambient Volume 2 announced

Following a sold-out debut, the Ambient Music Showcase returns with its much-anticipated Volume 2 on Friday, September 5, hosted Upstairs at 7 Oaks Café and Wine Bar on Main Street, Cavan Town. Doors open at 6pm, with performances beginning at 7:30pm.

This second instalment promises another captivating evening of original, atmospheric sounds featuring the talents of Winterking, Miranda Faul, and Grace Gillick.

At the heart of the showcase is Gráinne Conaty, a Cavan-based singer-songwriter and the creative force behind Ambient.

Gráinne’s passion for cultivating local musical talent emerged through her summer songwriting workshop, The Music Society, held at Cavan Townhall. Building on that experience, she secured a professional development grant from the Cavan Arts Office, which has allowed her to launch the Ambient series and bring in a sound engineer to support the experience.

With only a limited number of tickets available via Eventbrite, Ambient Volume 2 is again expected to sell out quickly.
