Elizabeth Ann Beresford, née Moore, Kilmore Willows, Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan, Tuesday September 9th peacefully at home. Beloved wife of Nigel and loving mother of Malcolm. Sadly, missed by her loving husband, son, daughter in law Catherine, her adored grandchildren Garret, James and Ciara, step-grandson Ronan, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12 RF78 tomorrow Thursday from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan at 11.30am, Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. The death has occurred of Bartle Cahill, Edenburt, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully, on September 9th, 2025, at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Bartle and Katie, his brothers Mattie, Pat, Phil, and Tommy, sisters May and Rose.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, daughter Helen sons Brian (Armelle), Kieran and Fergal (Deirdre) his loving grandchildren Cillian, Ciara, Aileen, Caroline, Hazel, and Audrey, his sisters Lena, Rita, and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82 YV58), on Thursday evening from 5pm until Prayers at 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eddie Reilly, Owenmore Drive, Raheen, Limerick and formerly of Arva, Co. Cavan. Late of Golden Vale.
September 9th 2025 peacefully at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Nora. Dearly loved father of Brian, Maurice, Siobhán and Áine. Sadly missed by his loving daughters-in-law Nora and Annette, sons-in-law Pio and Fergal, his adored grandchildren Grace, Jack, Saoirse, Brendan, Cian, Eoin, Nessa, Aoife, Donagh, Seán, Dáire and Leah, brother John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at St. Nessan’s Church Raheen on Friday (12th September) from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday (13th September) at 11.30am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Máire Mhic Gabhann (Maura Smith) (née Doohan), Stravicnabo, Lavey, Co. Cavan. Máire passed away on September 10th, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim.
Máire is sadly missed by her children Seán (Kathleen), Eileen (Pearse), Carmel, Pauline (David), and Kevin (Mags), her grandchilden, great-grandchildren, brother John, sisters Margaret and Rosemary, neighbours and friends.

Formerly Corduff and Lough Egish, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary and on Sunday last by his daughter-in-law Sharon. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife Mary, sons and daughters Owen, Cora, Oliver and Aisling, sons-in-law Franz (Kampes) and Francis (McGuigan), grandchildren Keri, Mia, Conal, Cian, Killian, Caoimhe, Enya, Emma, Cadhla and Aaron, great-granddaughter Eimíle, siblings Mai (Flanagan), Alice (Connolly), Brendan, Vera (Conlon) and Ollie, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home (A91 AW08) on Friday, September 12th from 4pm-8pm. Removal on Saturday, September 13th to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley (A91 XV99), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ita, Sons Kevin (Edel), Paul (Sinead), Karl (Danielle), his daughters Stephanie (Shane) and Sinead (Kevin), his grandchildren Amy, Emma, Leah, Caolan, Holly, Odhran and Clodagh, his Brothers in law, Sisters in law, neighbours and friends.

Stevie will be reposing at his home (Eircode H18VP38) today Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm and tomorrow Thursday from 3pm until 8pm (please note that Shuttle bus will be in operation from Sean McDermotts sports complex). Removal on Friday morning 12th September to arrive at Saint Mary's Church, Threemilehouse (Eircode H18AX27) for 11am funeral mass. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
