Jamie Colbourne's funeral to be held in Cavan this weekend

FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for Jamie Colbourne, the young man who passed away unexpectedly in Australia last month.
The funeral for the young Lisreagh man, who collapsed and died whilst out jogging in Perth on August 27, will take place in his native Cavan this weekend. He had just turned 26 on August 16.
According to Finnegan Funeral Directors, Jamie will repose at his home in Lisreagh (Eircode H12 HN76) next Saturday, September 20 from 12.00 noon until 6pm
Removal from his home will be on Sunday, September 21 at 1pm to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim Cavan, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm.
Cremation will take place afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Jamie leaves behind his parents, David and Elena, and siblings Matthew, Donna, Ciarán and Seán as well as his aunts and uncles Attracta, Des, Ian, Irene, Bernie and Trish, and cousins Aoife, Rachel, Katie and Shane.
In a heartbreaking post Jamie’s family have described him as “an extraordinary young man” whose memory will be cherished by his family and friends everywhere.
“He was loved to bits by everyone that had the pleasure of crossing his path - here in Ireland, over in Western Australia and in New Zealand,” Jamie’s family writes.
“He was ambitious, passionate, funny, weird, tremendous, wonderful, beautiful, hilarious, amazing, fun, and bold.”
The post also describes their shock and “heartbreak” at Jamie’s sudden passing.
“It was sudden and quick, no crime or accident involved, he just collapsed while out jogging. We are all beyond heartbroken,” Jamie’s family say, before adding: “He was an extraordinary young man.”
