Cavan on Fire

Culture Night 2025 in Cavan came alive: from afternoon until late, towns pulsed with music, dance, stories, art and laughter.

On Market Square, fathers, daughters and grannies tried impromptu dance steps, while families snapped selfies with flamboyant stilt-walkers or collected beautiful sketches from a “mini art vending machine.”

A mischievous “ferocious deer” sent teenagers squealing outside Townhall, and a bearded juggler had children shrieking with delight as adults laughed at his playful banter.

Across the county, more than 40 free events drew people of all ages together - a celebration where heritage, creativity and community mingled under open skies and warm lights.
