Monaghan teen missing

Dan is described as being approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of teenage boy in Monaghan.

Dan Filipache (14) is reported missing from Carrickmacross since Thursday September 18, 2025.

"It is believed that Dan may have travelled to Dublin city centre," a garda spokesperson stated.

Dan is described as being approximately 5 foot 3 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Dan was wearing an army combat jacket, navy trousers and black runners.

"Gardaí are concerned for his well-being," the spokesperson continued.

"Anyone with any information on Dan's whereabouts is asked to contact Carrickmacross Garda Station on (042) 9690190, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
