Night time water restrictions in Cavan town to be lifted tonight

The night time restrictions on the Cavan Town Public Water Supply are being lifted tonight (Monday).

Restrictions have been in place for one week due to a "mechanical issue" which has been resolved.

"There will be no shut-off on Monday night," an Uisce Éireann spokesperson told the Celt.

"The restrictions were necessary due to a mechanical issue at the water treatment plant which has now been resolved," they confirmed.
