Investigations 'ongoing' after assault in Killeshandra
Investigations are ongoing after an assault in Killeshandra in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"Emergency services were alerted to a male found unresponsive on Main Street in Killashandra at approximately 1:30am," a garda spokesperson stated.
"The male, aged in his 20s, was brought to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries."
A technical examination of the scene has been conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
"Investigations are ongoing," the spokesperson stated.
