Aloysius O'Donoghue
Clontarf, Dublin / Oldcastle, Meath / Virginia, Cavan
O’DONOGHUE, Aloysius - 8th October 2025, (Clontarf and formerly of Virginia, Co Cavan and Oldcastle, Co Meath), Peacefully in the care of staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Mary and loving father of Sally, Hugh, Fergal, Dearbhla, Olive and Louis, adoring grandfather to Katie, Jack, Kevin, Mary, James, Thomas, Ben, Charlie, Joana-Mae, Bessie-Lou and Jimi. Sadly missed by his sister, Sr. Veronica, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Nazareth House for their wonderful care of Aloysius.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Golf Links Road, Portmarnock on Friday 10th October from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Friday evening to St Anthony’s Church, Clontarf for 6:30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning 11th October at 10 am followed by burial in St Brigid’s, Oldcastle, Co Meath at approx 1pm.

Charlie Clarke
Carrickmacross, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Charlie Clarke, Mullaghrafferty, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in his 93rd year, surrounded by his family at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, Co. Louth Thursday 9th October 2025. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Briget Clarke, sisters Mary and Alice, brother Paddy and Brian. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by his loving wife Mary, son Charlie (Joann) and daughter Ann (Kevin Daly), his granddaughters Shauna, Hayley, Leanne, Aimee, Katie and Emma, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Deery's Funeral Home, Carrickmacross A81 C653 on Friday afternoon (10th Oct) from 4pm to 8pm. Private removal on Saturday morning from his daughters residence to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, (Rock Chapel), Magheracloone Upper, A81 KD72 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

Paddy (Patsy) Daly
Shrewsbury, UK and formerly of Essexford, Inniskeen, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Paddy (Patsy) Daly, Shrewsbury, UK, and formerly Essexford, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in his 95rd year, at Shrewsbury Hospital, England, Tuesday 7th October 2025. Predeceased by his beloved daughter Siobhán, sister Phil, brother-in-law Leo, sister-in-law Sheila and parents James and Brigid. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, son Michael, daughters Jacky (Mark), Tiffany (Frank), son-in-law Ian, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, brothers Jim, Brendan (Anne), sisters Mary, Carmel (John), nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

The death has occurred of Ann Rooney (née McEneaney). Drummond Etra, Carrickmacross & formerly Cashlan East, Lisdoonan. 8th October 2025. Unexpectedly, at her home.
Predeceased by her parents Pat & Katie.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family; her daughters Linda & Sinéad and her sons Mark, Niall & Alan and their partners, her much-loved grandchildren Aoibhínn, Aoife, Dáire, Amelia, Céira, Max, Katie, Annie, Molly, Maggie, Emilie, Oscar, Reece & Elijah, her sisters Molly & Rosemary and her brothers Peter-Owen, Joe & Seamus, her extended family, neighbours & friends.

Ann will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Saturday, 11th October, from 3pm until 7pm.
Ann's funeral cortège will leave her home, Drummond Etra, on Sunday, 12th October, proceeding on foot via Castleblayney Road, Main Street & O'Neill Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving at 11:50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
