Fabulous Food

If you want to treat mum or catch up with the girls, afternoon tea is served at the Slieve Russell in the hotel foyer from 12pm to 5pm daily.

Want something more substantial? There is a choice of restaurants at the Slieve Russell, with careful consideration given to a specific vegetarian menu. Vegans are also catered for with advance notice.

Sunday lunch at the Conall Cearnach Restaurant is a traditional mainstay. At all other times in the week, the Summit Restaurant, over looking the golf course, serves a full lunchtime menu and, in the evenings, guests at the Summit can enjoy á la carte dining.

The focus in the Setanta Restaurant is on contemporary-style cooking, which is open seasonally in the evenings serving an á la carte menu.

Country Club

If you need to make time for yourself, want to look after your health and wellbeing or need to go somewhere to relax, a member of staff at the Slieve Russell Country Club would be happy to discuss membership with you.

Enjoy all the facilities including the 20m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, massage jets, kids pool, and a fully equipped fitness suite. There are also various classes running in the Country Club, which can be enjoyed by its members.

The club is open daily, Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 9:30pm and on Saturday and Sunday (and Bank Holidays etc.) from 8am to 8pm making looking after yourself accessible to Cavan people.

Ciúin Spa and Wellness Centre

Taking ‘Me Time’ to the luxurious level happens in the Ciúin Spa and Wellness Centre at the hotel. PGA golf course

Created by Irish golf architect Patrick Merrigan, the PGA National Ireland Slieve Russell golf course is one of only eight PGA National designated resorts in the world. An 18-hole championship course and nine-hole PGA National Academy course form part of the 300-acre Slieve Russell Estate. Its clever design layout wraps attractively around the lakes and drumlins of the County Cavan landscape.

The course gives the golfer in your family a set of interesting challenges with ‘devilishly’ tricky greens presenting a searching examination of accurate approach play, adding to the enjoyment factor.
