The death has occurred of Peter Gaynor Kent, England and formerly of Cornaglea, Mullagh. Co. Cavan.

Peacefully at St Thomas Hospital London

Predeceased by his father John, mother Molly and sister Mary

Sadly missed by his Partner Teresa, daughter Barbara, sister Sheila, brother Paddy, grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Billy Kearns, the Drumlins, Virginia, Co. Cavan and late of Dun Laoghaire and Bray, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on 13 October 2025. Much-loved husband of Bernadette and cherished dad of Jacqui, Jacinta, and Adrian and adored grandfather to Aoibheann, Isobel, Aisling, Jacob, Tadhg, Sinéad, Dylan, Oisin, Tomás, and Niall. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, his son and his grandchildren, his sister Maureen, his nephews Derek, Vincent, Stephen, and Liam, his sons-in-law Ken and Anthony, daughter-in-law Doireann, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 7 o'clock. Removal to Mary Immaculate Church on Thursday morning, arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer's Ireland.

Ballycartlan, Magheracloone, Monaghan / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Paddy Owens, Ballycartlan, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in his 96th year, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 13th October 2025.

Predeceased by his brothers James and Willie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife May, his brothers Bennie, Michael and John and his sister Kathleen McKeown, his brother-in-law Thomas Gargan, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, (A82R3W2) on Thursday, 16th October, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his home on Friday morning at 10.30 am to St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church, Lower Magheracloone, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully on Tuesday, 14th October 2025 at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Adeline, parents William and Patricia and his brother William. John will be dearly missed by his devoted and loving son Richard, his treasured granddaughter Ella, Richard's partner Emma and her treasured children Daisy, Poppy and Tarrin.

Resting at his home. Funeral service in Aghabog Parish Church of Ireland, eircode H18 N840, on Thursday, 16th October at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Reposing at his home from 12 noon Tuesday until Wednesday at 9.00pm. House strictly private on Thursday morning. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Clones for 11.00 funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount Saint Olivier Cemetery.
