Local gardaí involved in property raids

Two male juveniles were arrested in connection with raids carried out as part of an "ongoing" investigation into organised criminal activity linked to rural burglaries and criminality.
Gardaí from the Sligo-Leitrim and Louth-Cavan-Monaghan Divisions carried out the searches in Naas, Co Kildare today, Wednesday, October 15.
Two teenagers arrested are currently being detained at a Garda station in the Eastern Region under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
The "ongoing investigations into organised criminal activity" are linked to rural burglaries and criminality in the Garda North Western Region, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana confirmed.
