Curkish, Bailieborough, Cavan

Philomena (Phylis) Foy nee Rogers, New York and formerly of Curkish, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on Tuesday 14th October 2025, peacefully surrounded by her devoted family in Ploughkeepse, New York. Predeceased by her sisters Rita and Marie and brothers Roy and Tom.

Deeply missed by her husband William, children Annmarie, Aimee and John, brother Paddy, grandchildren Benjamin, Ava, Fiona, Oscar and Mabel, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday 18th October at 3pm (Irish Time) in St. Mary Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, New York.

Maura McEntee

(née Swinburne)

Mullinary, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Maura McEntee, Mullinary, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 15th October 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her husband Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Siobhán (Brendan McElroy), son Michael (Sinéad), her adored grandchildren Jake, Courtney and Stacey, brother Tommy (Elish RIP) and Oliver (Mary), sister Catherine (John Kelly), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and members of St. Joseph’s Conference (St Vincent dePaul).

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross on Friday evening from 4pm to 8pm.

House Private at all other times.

Removal on Sunday morning from Maura’s residence, Mullinary on foot via ‘The Bridge’ to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving at 11:50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

Mary Walsh

Rockcorry, Monaghan

Mary Walsh, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan October 15th 2025 peacefully at College View Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Rose and Maurice Walsh, brothers Seamus, Phelim, Oliver, Maurice and Joe, sisters Ann and Teresa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Rose and Brid, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and all who knew her.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home, Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal leaving Mullen’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at Holy Trinity Church, Rockcorry, Co. Monaghan for 11am funeral mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
