O'Keeffe leads Lacken to Senior Championship crown

Lacken regained the Senior Camogie Championship was a hard-earned four-point win over Denn in the final this afternoon at Kingspan Breffni.

A goal in each half from team captain Roisín O'Keeffe helped Lacken over the line.

With Hannah and Shanise Fitzsimons and Daria Kalledech on the scoresheet, Denn were well in touch at half-time at which point they trailed by two, 1-4 to 0-5, with Eimear Brady proving accurate from frees for the Crowe Park women, for whom Michelle Ellis pulled off a couple of great stops.

Denn were reliant on Shanise Fitzsimons's frees in the second half as Lacken pulled away, Brady and O'Keeffe keeping the scoreboard ticking alongside the second green flag for the latter.
