Brian Lynch

Cornapaste, Laurel Hill, Scotshouse, Monaghan / Clones, Monaghan / Cavan

Brian Lynch, Cornapaste, Laurel Hill, Scotshouse, Clones, Co.Monaghan, 22nd October 2025, peacefully in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in Eternal peace.

Remains reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12C821) on Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8PM. Remains arriving to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Scotshouse on Friday morning for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary McCabe

Bunnoe, Cavan

Mary McCabe, Brackla, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, died 22nd October 2025, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents John and Annie, brother Gerry and sisters Nora and Anne.

Will forever be missed by her siblings Vincent (Julie), Margaret O’Halloran (Michael), Benny, Kathleen Driver (Michael) and Helen Watters (Brendan), brother in law Peter, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan this Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Funeral cortège to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Bunnoe for Requiem Mass on Friday at 2.30pm, and can be viewed live here followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ita McCaffrey (nee Ruddy), Galloon Road, Galloon Island, Newtownbutler. BT92 8HY peacefully in the SWAH Enniskillen, in the loving care of her family.

Dearly beloved mother of Jonathan, Sarah (Mark) and Helen (Ryan) and a devoted grandmother to John James, Grace, Thomas and Ada. A much loved sister of Briege (Michael Jones), Kathleen (Brian Tinnelly RIP) and Geraldine (Aidan MacNally)

Predeceased by her husband John and her parents Bridget and Patrick.

Marie O’Reilly, Railway Road, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, 21st October 2025. Peacefully in the excellent care of all of the staff at Cavan General hospital and in the presence of her niece. Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Ellen (née Hogan), brothers Joseph and Liam and sister-in-law Peggy.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister-in-law Phyllis, nieces Helen and Oona, nephews Liam, Paul and Dermot, nieces-in-law Máire and Liz, grand nieces Ornagh and Orla, grand nephews James, Liam and Alex, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Marie will be reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) this Friday evening from 5pm until evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra (H12 DD79) with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square Monaghan on Thursday (23/10/2025) from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal on Friday ((24/10/2025) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of Sandra McCabe. Cloughvalley Upper, Carrickmacross. 20th October 2025. Unexpectedly, at her home.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family; her parents Eamonn and Briege, her sister Sarah-Jane and her brother Alan (Paula), her much-loved cousin Eva, her cherished niece and nephews; Chantelle, Dylan, Darragh and Rhys, her extended family, friends and work colleagues in Anord Mardix.

Sandra will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 23rd October, from 4pm until 8pm.

Sandra's funeral cortège will leave her home, Cloughvalley Upper, on Friday, 24th October, driving to Monaghan Street and from there proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
