Formerly of Aughaloora, Kilnaleck, Co Cavan. Peacefully on 13th November, in the tender care of the wonderful staff of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home, Arklow. Beloved wife of the late P.J., loving mother of Mary & Anne-Marie & much loved sister of Una & the late Michael, Mattie, Mary & Patsy. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Dawn, Luke, Katie & Emma, sister, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours & many dear friends.

May she rest in peace.

Patrick Ambrose ‘Ambie’ McMullen

Patrick Ambrose ‘Ambie’ McMullen, (Cobar NSW Australia and formerly of Cootehill Co.Cavan). Passed away tragically on 28th of October 2025 aged 59 years. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Maureen, brother James and brother in law Cathal.

Deeply loved husband, best friend and soulmate of Regina (Genie) (née Meleady)(Clonbullogue, Offaly). Devoted father who will be forever missed by his sons, Darragh, Conor, Tadhg and Oisín and their partners.

Cherished brother of Mary Kevin and Dympna. Treasured brother-in-law of Simon, Sam, Breeda & Damien, Niamh & Tom, Diarmaid & Louise, John & Shirley, Martin & Emeria. Son in law of Rita. Much respected and admired uncle, nephew, godfather, cousin, mentor, father-figure and loyal friend.

Humble in life, rich in love and remembered in every heart he touched.

A funeral service to celebrate Ambie’s life will be held in Cobar, NSW on Friday 14th of November. A memorial service will be held in Cootehill on Monday 22nd of December.

Knockdoemore, Claregalway, Galway / Cavan

The death has occurred of Theresa Mellotte (nee McCabe), Knockdoemore, Claregalway, Co. Galway and formerly of Behey, Co Cavan. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Mystical Rose Nursing Home on 11th November 2025.

Very sadly missed by her devoted and cherished family Marc, Richard, Orla and Lisa, son in law Alex, daughter in laws Jean and Trish, adored grandchildren Brian, Dara, Liam, Molly and Ava, sisters Kate and Bernie, brothers Roy and Danny, sisters-in-law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by her husband Richard, her parents Bobby and Ann and sisters Sheila and Monica and recently deceased brother in law Declan.

Reposing at Síoraíocht (H91 XH02) in the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway on this (Friday) evening from 5:00 p.m. with removal to the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway at 6.30 p.m.

Saturday, November 15th 2025:

Funeral Mass on Saturday in the Church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway (H91 YH05) at 11:00 am, with Burial in Claregalway Cemetery.

Клавдія Пономаренко (уроджена Алексєєва), 90 років, мирно померла 12 листопада 2025 року в оточенні своєї родини в лікарні Каван.

Глибоко шкодують і сумують її любляча родина: донька Наталія (Кравець), син Олексій (Пономаренко), люблячі онуки Денис, Дарʼя, Ілля, правнуки Христина та Іван, племінниця Ірина та близькі друзі.

Klavdiya Ponomarenko (née Alekseyeva), 90, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, surrounded by her family at Cavan Hospital.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family: daughter Natalia (Kravets), son Aleksey (Ponomarenko), loving grandchildren Denis, Daria, Ilya, great-grandchildren Kristina and Ivan, niece Irina, and close friends.

Klavdiya will be reposing at Lawlors funeral home at Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) at 10.00am on Friday morning with prayer service at Lakelands crematorium at 11.00am followed by cremation.

Anne Kernan (nee Treanor) Armagh and formerly Drumdart,Tydavnet, Co Monaghan. November 12th 2025 peacefully in Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by her loving family.Devoted mother to Garry (Laura) and Elaine Guzdek(Pete). Cherished daughter of the late Jimmy and Annie Treanor RIP.

Her remains will repose at her late residence 5 Legar Hill Park, Armagh BT60 4BX until removal on Saturday to arrive at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Dympna's Church Cemetery, Tydavnet Co Monaghan arriving 1:30pm.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her son, daughter, grandchildren Finn, Lucas, Evie, Ethan and Freya, brother Sean (Anne), sister Olive Treanor (Dominic), nephews, nieces and the entire family circle and many friends.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

We are saddened to announce the death of James (Jim Joe) Mohan, Dernadarriff, Carrickroe, Co Monaghan, H18 W265. Thursday 13th November peacefully at Drumbear Lodge surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sisters Annie & Eileen and his brothers Patrick Gerard in infancy and Kevin.

James is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Eileen and children Pauline Devine (Jason), Peter Mohan, Patricia Larmer (Ian), Terence Mohan (Sharon), Ita Toner (Mickey) and his grandchildren. Sisters Margaret, Theresa, Rose and Bernadette, brother Peter, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, Clara, H18 W602. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
