Say it with flowers by Faye
It’s never too early to organise your festive flower arrangements with House of Flowers, with orders coming in already.
A bouquet of flowers arranged locally by Faye could be a heartfelt gesture to show somebody you appreciate them this Christmas. Similarly, a House of Flowers door wreath or a bespoke garland weaving around the mantel piece makes for an inviting holiday welcome, while a custom centre piece would enhance your Christmas Day table.
With over 20 years of experience in flower arranging, the Drung native also specialises in making Christmas grave wreaths.
“Gifting is at the heart of our business,” Faye describes. House of Flowers caters for all occasions and milestones with beautiful bouquets.
When the Celt called, the Cootehill florist was busy preparing and sprucing up her shop for the busy weeks ahead.
House of Flowers sources 90% of its flowers from Holland, and buys local and Irish-grown flowers where and when possible.
“All of our arrangements are made fresh in house for your collection date, meaning making your order early is essential to avoid disappointment at busy times,” she explains.
Orders for Christmas start coming in from September 1, with some customers availing of the in-store Christmas club initiative. Faye is also creating arrangements for those with yearly subscriptions.
“At Christmas we find people tend to send bouquets to say thank you to someone for something they have done during the year to help them,” she told the Celt.
Employing two other members of staff, Faye took over the flower business in 2017. House of flowers also specialises in sympathy and funeral flowers, wedding arrangements, bouquets and more.
Located on Cootehill’s Market Street, call in to Faye from Monday to Saturday to make your Christmas order or call 049- 5552699.
“We thank all of our customers for their support throughout the year, and wish you all a very happy Christmas.”
