Council crews are working on an area of the Cootehill to Bailieborough road affected by spot flooding

DRIVERS on the R191 are advised to exercise caution because of spot flooding.

The area affected is the Cootehill - Bailieborough Road near The Vale junction (opposite Busy Bees pre-school).

Cavan County Council says warning signage is in place and council crews are at the scene attempting to alleviate flooding.

“Water levels are dropping, but driver caution is advised,” a post from Cavan County Council reads this evening.
