Major milestones at Back to Nature
Celebrations are well and truly underway at Back To Nature Health Store in the heart of Cavan Town.
Back To Nature achieved the prestigious ‘Naturally Good Health Retailer Of The Year 2025’ award earlier this year. The accolade is customer nominated and then judged by a panel of peers.
Owner Christine McGuinness and the team at Back To Nature are “delighted” and “grateful” to all their customers who nominated them for this wonderful honour.
Back To Nature has been serving the people of Cavan and the surrounding counties for many years, and the team aims to create an environment where people can seek natural advice and remedies in a “safe, professional and confidential manner”.
Over the years, they have seen “amazing” success in helping people to achieve and maintain optimum health. This store caters for everyone - men and women of all ages working holistically with products and information.
“This is a dynamic ever changing world where more and more research on holistic and health and herbal remedies for all ailments is gaining prominence and awareness, and our mission is to help people get out ahead of symptoms and work preventively on their over-all well-being,” Christine says, adding that “prevention is better than cure”.
Meanwhile, Back To Nature is celebrating for the second time this year, having received the ‘Pat Curran Award for Excellence in Service’ award.
The award was established in memory of Pat Curran, a prominent figure in the health industry who valued customers and customer service above all. While presenting the award to the Cavan Town business, Pat’s daughter described Back to Nature as a “warm, welcoming, friendly space where a fountain of knowledge awaits from Christine and her team”.
This is an outstanding achievement to have been the recipient of the two major awards within the health industry in one year.
Christine credits this success to a wonderful professional team who support each other and are dedicated to helping their customers in every possible way.

Yet another milestone, Back To Nature was delighted to launch its online information and shopping website - www.backtonaturehealthstore.ie this Spring. This has enabled them to support an ever-increasing customer base with a resource of information on aspects of holistic health.

Back to Nature wishes to create a library of stories and remedies that have had outstanding success over the years.
“The story of someone’s journey to health and well-being can be a real inspiration and help so many others achieve the same. There is nothing like hearing someone’s lived experience, it brings the remedies to life in a very different way,” Christine says.
Back to Nature wants your story, but what do they want to know?
“The remedy that worked for you, how you felt before and after, we want to know what it is that made the difference,” Christine explains. This remedy could be a supplement, a herb, a crystal, an angel or simple advice in store. Many of their “most memorable” stories have been a combination of remedies “coming together synergistically to create the healing outcome.”
The stories can be printed anonymously and every story will receive a Back to Nature 10% discount voucher and will also be entered into a draw for wonderful prizes.
