Cavan person scoops €17 million jackpot!

The National Lottery has today confirmed that a EuroMillions person in County Cavan won the incredible €17 million jackpot in Friday night’s draw (December 12).

The winning ticket matched all five numbers and two Lucky Stars, delivering a fantastic prize ahead of the holidays.

The winning ticket was purchased in a retail store in Cavan, with the exact location to be announced on Tuesday, December 16.

This is the second Irish EuroMillions jackpot win of 2025, and remarkably, Cavan’s second millionaire in just two weeks, following a Daily Million top prize on November 30.

The numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw were: 7, 25, 30, 37, 41 and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 11.

National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O’Dwyer, shared, “We’re delighted to confirm that the €17 million EuroMillions jackpot winning ticket was sold in County Cavan. This incredible win comes at a special time of year and is sure to be a huge Christmas surprise for the winner. We’re asking all Cavan players to check their tickets very carefully and, if you are the winner, sign the back of your ticket and keep it safe. Our Claims team is ready to guide you through the claiming process, and we’ll announce the store location on Tuesday.”

The latest EuroMillions winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket, which is worth a staggering €17 million, and keep it secure. They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit the Winners Room at Lottery HQ.
