Choirs and Kilbane combine for a very special evening of Christmas song
What’s better than listening to a choir providing a special evening of Christmas songs? Having two choirs provide a special evening of Christmas songs of course! And that’s what Ballyconnell can look forward to as Kildallan and Tomregan combined Parish Choirs will perform at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
The community gathering on Thursday, December 18, promises to bring parishioners and neighbours together in joyful preparation for the Christmas season, all in aid of the restoration of St Brigid’s Old Church.
The evening will be led by the talented Combined Parish Choirs, who have prepared a beautiful programme of traditional and contemporary Christmas music. Their performance will set the atmosphere for a night filled with warmth, reflection, and celebration.
Special guest James Kilbane is one of Ireland’s best-known voices in Christian, inspirational, and Country Gospel music. James brings uplifting music and messages of faith to audiences.
This concert is in support of the restoration of St Brigid’s Old Church, and proceeds will ensure the historic site remains part of the spiritual and cultural landscape for generations to come. Donation tickets are €15, available from the parish office, local outlets, choir members, event organisers, or by calling 049 9526291.
Everyone is welcome to come along, and share in this meaningful and festive parish occasion. Doors 7pm; concert begins at 7:30pm.
