Zest's inspirational manager

A local health and fitness club manager is celebrating her ‘Inspiring Manager of the Year’ award, which was conferred at the IHI Hospitality Awards.

Gayle Anderson is the manager of the Cavan Crystal Hotel’s health and fitness club Zest, where she is often seen giving water aerobics classes, cleaning equipment, chatting to members and leading by example for the wonderful team around her.

“I never imagined I would be announced as the winner,” she said after receiving the award.

“It was already a privilege and an honour to progress to the finalist stage.”

Gayle thanked her wonderful colleagues at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, and also her friends and family for their support down through the years.

“I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the best,” she said.

“Since winning, I am very grateful for all the warm wishes and congratulations I’ve received.”
