Fog Lifts to a Dry Day with Sunny Spells

Fog and low cloud will clear through Wednesday morning to leave a largely dry day with variable cloud and bright or sunny spells.
While most areas stay dry, there is a slight chance of patchy drizzle, mainly along coastal areas.
Temperatures will reach 3 to 7 degrees. Winds will be light and variable at first, becoming westerly later, freshening to moderate in the north by evening as showers begin to approach northern coasts.
Cloud will dominate early in the night with some light rain drifting southwards. From the north, clearer spells will develop along with scattered showers.
Temperatures will fall to -2 to +3 degrees, leading to frost and icy stretches, especially inland. Winds will be light to moderate westerly, increasing fresh at times near northern and northwestern coasts.
