Work on 134 house development to begin
CONSTRUCTION work on a new development of 134 houses in Cavan Town is due to commence in the coming weeks with a showhouse for Gort na Caraige on the Cootehill Road open for public viewings by March.
The sole selling agent for Gort na Carraige, Smith Property, says the development is a “carefully planned” mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, including terraced, semi-detached, detached, and bungalow-style properties.
The development is being brought to market by Woodfort Group, a well-established residential developer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality housing schemes throughout Ireland.
Thoughtfully designed by WGG Architects, the new homes will be contemporary with a strong emphasis on practical layouts, and long-term liveability.
Sustainability and long-term energy efficiency is also a key focus of the houses’ design so as to ensure strong energy ratings and future-proofed homes for owners.
“The varied house types have been designed to cater for a broad spectrum of purchasers, including first-time buyers, growing families, downsizers, and owner-occupiers seeking modern homes in a prime town location,” said Raymond Smith, Managing Director of Smith Property.
He also pointed to how the community-focused development at Gort na Caraige will include an on-site crèche facility.
“There continues to be strong demand for well-designed, energy-efficient homes in accessible town locations,” the estate agent said.
Expressions of interest are now being accepted through the Cavan Town offices of Smith Property. Interested parties are asked to contact the office on Farnham Street on 049-4362224 or by email on newhomes@smithproperty.ie for further information and updates ahead of the official sales launch.“Gort na Carraige offers purchasers an opportunity to secure a new-build home that combines quality construction, sustainability, thoughtful design, and excellent amenities,” Mr Smith said.
