WITH enhanced SEAI grants to retrofit windows and doors coming on stream, now is as good a time as ever for homeowners to think about replacing them.

There's nobody better to carry out that job for you in Cavan and beyond than the top class professionals at Joe Rowley Windows and Doors.

Operating out of their base in Kilnaleck since 2007, the Joe Rowley crew have become one of the most trusted operators in the business.

It's why their sales director, Ben Rowley, encourages potential new customers to check out the reviews from homeowners who have been more than happy with their finished product.

Ben says: "One of the things customers will often ask us is how much work they will have to do cleaning up afterwards when we are finished fitting their new windows and doors and they are left very satisfied with the very clean and professional job we do.

"We have the same fitters for the past seven or eights years, which helps to build up our reputation and you only have to look at our Google reviews to see that is the case."

With enhanced quotation systems now in place, customers can expect to receive a free quote from Joe Rowley Windows and Doors within a week.

They can also have the new windows they are interested in superimposed onto their home to give them the perfect preview of what they will look like.

Ben added: “With our new systems people should get their quote within a week and we operate anywhere within two hours of Cavan, taking us into parts of Leitrim and Roscommon in Connacht and Meath and even Dublin in Leinster.”

He finds that both triple and double glazed A-rated uPVC windows remain popular; while many homeowners are also now going for composite doors for the extra security they provide.

A full retrofit also means the added benefit of heat and energy retention within the home and extra noise reduction.

"All the windows we fit are A rated anyway, whether they are double or triple glazed, but the benefit with going with triple glazed can be the noise reduction," explained Ben.

"It's why some homeowners will go for the triple glazed at the front of their home and maybe then double glazed for the back."

With enticing SEAI grants under the Better Energy Home Scheme now reaching up to €4,000 for windows for detached homes and up to €1,600 for doors, Ben said there's never been a better time for homeowners to consider an upgrade.

However he urged homeowners to check the criteria to ensure they are eligible for these grants. For example, the homes must be built and owner occupied prior to 2011.

"They can look up the eligibility criteria on the SEAI website or can call into us and we can advise them on it," Ben said.

"It's a very good saving for those who are eligible and if they do go for a full retrofit with us, they will be very satisfied afterwards."

Products supplied and fitted by Joe Rowley Windows & Doors include PVC windows and doors, vertical sliding sash windows and composite doors, stable doors, and aluminium lift and slide and bi-fold doors.
