Burns, John, Gowna, Co. Cavan and formerly of Kilbride, Abbeylara, Co. Longford, Tues 17th March 2026, peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford.
Predeceased by his brothers Willie, Charlie, Terry, Joe, Jimmy and Tommy and his niece Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Christine (New York), sisters in law Brigie, Teresa and Pat, Nephews; Charlie, Tommy, Liam and Tom, Nieces; Mary, Catherine, Josie, Patricia and Eileen, his adored grand nieces and grandnephews, great friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown (N39 VR04) Thurs 19th March from 5pm with prayers at 6.45pm. Removal to the Church Of The Holy Family, Loch Gowna (H12FT54) arriving for 8pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Fri 20th March at 11am followed by burial in Granardkille New Cemetery, Granardkille, Granard, Co. Longford.

The death has occurred suddenly of John Paul Curran at his home, Connolly Court, Connolly Street, Cavan, 11th March 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Kevin and Bridget Curran, and his partner Orla. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Rowan, Connor and Daniel, his brothers Hugh and Noel, his extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, A82 R3W2, on Thursday, 19th March, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 10 am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday the 15th of March 2026.
Predeceased by his father Joe Gillespie.
Trevor will be sadly missed by his dearly devoted and loving wife Carol (Nee Gordon), daughters Gayle (Malcolm Drury) and Averyl (Fionan Cahill), his mother Esther, brothers Adrian (Sharleen) and Clive (Libby), his cherished grandchildern Hannah, Chloe, Danny, Jessica and Evan, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Resting at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co Cavan (H16FD25) on Wednesday the 18th of March from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral cortage will leave the residence of Malcolm and Gayle Drury on Thursday the 19th of March at 1pm to arrive at Drung Parish Church of Ireland for funeral service at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Bernard Johnston, Kilnavara, Cavan, Monday March 16th 2026, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Peggy), his brother Sean and his sister Anne.
Bernard was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and best friend Pauline, his son Sean (Aileen), his daughter Louise (Colm), his adored grandchildren Ayla, Aria, Alysa, Rafa, Grace and Rosie, his siblings Liz, Margaret (Jonty), Cathal (Bridget) and Davy (Irene), nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Bernard's remains will leave his home in Kilnavara on Thursday morning at 11.30am and will travel to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass the cortege will travel to St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry for committal prayers and burial. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Palliative Care Unit at Cavan General Hospital via donation box in the Funeral Home or the link below.
