Mary Blessing

Mary Blessing, Beech Hill, Latt, Cavan Town, Friday March 20th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff in the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by her parents Louis and Cissie Blessing, her sister Bernadette and her brother Patrick.
Mary will be very sadly missed by her sisters Sinead, Grainne and Ann (Michael), her brother Louis (Ann), sister in law Anne, her nephews and nieces, all her extended family and her many friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Following Mass a cremation service will take place at Lakelands Crematorium. Eileen passed away peacefully at Mount Hybla Nursing Home. Loving mother of Gillian, Eamonn, Dermot and Maeve and their spouses John, Mary and Xavier, treasured grandchildren, Hannah, Niamh, Orla, Lena, Dearbhla, Aoife and Ciara, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband James.

Lying in repose at the Fanagan-Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday (23rd March) from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock.
Eileen’s Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday (24th March) at 11.30 o’clock in the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fairview and she will be laid to rest afterwards with her late husband James in Dardistown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Rita Kelly née Denning, 4 Fortview, Tullybuck, Butlersbridge, Co Cavan, Beloved wife and best friend of Gabriel. Saturday March 21st peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Monica and John (Jack) Denning (Brews hill, Navan), brother Michael and sister Madge Cooke.
Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughter Lorraine (Damian O'Connell, Dundalk), sons David (Annemarie Quinn, Stranolar) and Thomas (Lucy Kelly, Mountnugent), her adored grandchildren, Rónán, Cillian, Cian, Maria, Emily, Delia, Monty and Sol.

Reposing at her home H12 N882 tomorrow, Sunday, from 4.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal from her home on Monday morning at 10.40am to St Aidan’s Church, Butlersbridge to arrive for 11.00am Requiem Mass. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Mary O'Sullivan nee Nagle, Drombeg, Ardgroom, Beara, Co Cork and formerly of Corbally, Killorglin, Co Kerry died on the 21st March 2026 at her daughter Sheila Duffy's residence at Stramaquerty, Killinkere, Co Cavan, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and John.
Beloved wife of Michael and cherished mother of Patrick, Joan, Carmel, Sheila and John, daughter-in-law Anita, sons-in-law J.P. and Eric, adored grandchildren Sean, Oisín and Darragh, sisters Peggy and Julianne, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral to arrive at the Church of the Resurrection, Ardgroom (P75 Y076) on Wednesday 25th March for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Gortnabulliga cemetery.

The death has occurred of Noel Fox. Tullyglass, Shantonagh, Castleblayney. 20th March 2026. In his 92nd year. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
Predeceased by his wife Eileen, his parents Michael & Elizabeth, his brothers Vincent, Augustine & Eamonn and his sister Maura.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his daughters Caitriona and Teresa, his son-in-law Kevin Smith, his adored granddaughter Lucy, his extended family, neighbours & friends.

Predeceased by his beloved mother Christine.
Cherished and much-loved son of Brendan and adored brother of Kevin (Tracy, Killynarley, Monaghan), Geraldine (Christopher Flynn, Lisinan, Smithborough) and Aidan (Sophie, Brisbane, Australia). Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his son Harry, father, sister, brothers, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, Imogen, nephews, Matthew, Thomas, Jamie, Killian, Callum and Ciarán, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Brendan
