Mattie Conaty, Stradone Village, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness bravely borne. Pre-deceased by his father Terence and sister-in-law Teresa.
Deeply regretted by his heart broken wife and best friend Carmel. Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his mother Bridget, brothers and sisters Johnny (Margaret), Mary (Danny), Eileen (Norbert), Terence and PJ, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Mary & Bernard, Liam & Martina, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Drury, Thomas (Tom) (Brittas, Co Dublin and Late of Co. Cavan), March 22nd, 2026 peacefully at Tallaght Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the Late May and loving father to Tom, Stephen and the Late Tina. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Alethea, brother Sam, daughters-in-law Mary and Olga, grandchildren Robert, Sarah, Katie and Alison, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Tallaght Village on Wednesday (March 25th) from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Removal on Thursday (March 26th) to Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving for 2:30pm Funeral Service. Family flowers only please. All enquiries to – 01 451 6701.

Frank ''Frankie'' Smith
formerly of Townparks, Ballyhaise, Cavan
The death has occurred of Frank "Frankie" Smith, formerly of Townparks, Ballyhaise, Sunday March 22nd 2026, suddenly and unexpectedly at his home. Former member of the Annalees Showband. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Susan Smith, his brothers Charles, Peter Jr and Austin and his sisters Margie, Anne and Carmel. Frank will be very sadly missed by his loving partner Anne, brothers Jimmy (Monaghan), Tony (Cullies) and Noel (Kilbeggan) and his sister Mary Cosgrove (Limerick), his sisters in law, nephews, nieces and all his many relatives and friends.

Frank will repose at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Ballyhaise on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock followed by a cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Irish Heart Foundation via their website or donation box in the Funeral Home. House private to family at all times please.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (24/03/2026) from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday (25/03/2026) from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Removal on Thursday (26/03/2026) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St Mary’s Church, Clontibret for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Nancy Murphy, Griggy, Co.Monaghan, Monday 23rd March, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Mullinahinch Nursing home.
Predeceased by her husband Brendan, her parents Jack & Ellen and sister-in-law Celia
Nancy will be forever loved and missed by her sons Barry (Margaret), Allan (Celia), her much loved grandchildren Blain (Aisling), Daniel (Rachel), Nathan & Dylan, her only brother John Joe (Manchester), her beloved nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Nancy’s funeral procession will arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Glennan, on Wednesday for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laturcan cemetery.
