Plan the perfect family day out at Kaleidoscope, presented by Glenveagh, this summer

Festival returns to Russborough House, Co Wicklow, from 3rd to 5th July

As the evenings turn brighter and the winter chill fades, we are already beginning to think ahead to summertime and with that, planning activities to enjoy together with family. A tricky part of planning summer can be finding events that are suitable and enjoyable for all the family. One event that provides the perfect solution for a fun-filled family day out is Kaleidoscope, presented by Glenveagh, one of Ireland’s most popular family-friendly festivals.

Prided on being Ireland’s first fully inclusive family event, Kaleidoscope, presented by Glenveagh, will take place at Russborough House, Co Wicklow, from 3rd to 5th July with a music line-up worthy of any summer festival.

In addition to top class music acts, there will be a range of activities, including baby raves, mesmerising magic shows, storytelling and a bundle of workshops from creative writing to theatre performance.

The first wave of music artists has just been announced, and this year’s line-up features impressive global names such as Natasha Bedingfield and Pete Tong, who will bring a mix of energy-filled fun through pop and dance, headlining on Friday and Saturday respectively. Adding to the Saturday night energy, Dustin the Turkey will take to the decks for a special ‘beck‑to‑beck’ DJ set, warming up the main arena in the lead‑up to Pete Tong’s headline performance. Taking the festival home with a feel-good finale on Sunday evening are The Saw Doctors, one of Ireland’s most beloved bands who embody the spirit of an Irish summer.

The stellar music line-up also includes Irish festival favourites Mark McCabe, whose generation‑defining anthem, Maniac 2000' remains a guaranteed festival highlight, to beloved singer‑songwriter Mundy, whose crowd‑singalong favourites have soundtracked Irish summers for over three decades. These are in addition to popular and upcoming Irish acts like Rebecca Creighton, DJ Calum and Hype Man Jack, Seanem, and Anna McBride, as well as cover bands and tribute acts such as Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones and Oas1s, with many more artists to be announced.

As one of Ireland’s only fully inclusive family festival events, Kaleidoscope, presented by Glenveagh, offers spacious campsites for families seeking a weekend experience, with hot showers, dedicated baby care areas, sensory quiet zones and campsite quiet time curfews, as well as BBQ and family cooking areas all available to ensure the most comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing festival experience for families of all ages.
