The death has occurred of Josie (Joseph) Clarke, Clonmacmara, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, suddenly but peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his family on the 31 March 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Anne and his daughters Laurinda and Veronica.

Deeply regretted by his daughters Serena and Sylvana, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren, his brother Tony, sister in law Camilla, his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Remains will repose at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58), this Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Removal from Matthews Funeral Home to St. Mary’s Church, Cross on Thursday morning arriving for 10:30am Celebration of the Word, Final Commendation and Farewell.

Burial afterwards in Mullagh Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Donie (Patrick) Sheridan, Wateraughey, Corlismore, Co Cavan. Wednesday April 1st, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses, and staff of Surgical 1 and the Palliative care team.

Pre-deceased by his sister Rita Quinn and infant brother Gerard, his parents Patrick and Minnie, his niece Amy Sheridan.

Beloved and devoted husband of Bridie and loving father of Raymond (Laura Pearson), Frances (Steven Smith) and Olivia (Trevor Cartwright), his adored grandchildren Paudie, Joe, Jake, Aly, Kacey and Éalla, brothers Jim and Tom, sisters Eileen Shanaghy and Mary Sheridan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and wide circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Mary Duffy (Nee Mallon) Corrybrennan Park, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan and Armagh City, Co. Armagh on Wednesday 1st April 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family in the Green Park Nursing Home, Armagh.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Angela, brothers Jim, Gerald, Paddy and Thomas.

Mary, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, husband Eugene, sons Barry (Sharon) and Conor (Patricia), daughter Joanne (Cathal), her cherished grandchildren Michaela, Clíondha, Nathan, Alicia and Ryan, sisters Deirdre Parks, Ann Rodger’s, Kate Mallon and Goretti Duffy, brother Sean Mallon, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Mary will repose at Wards Funeral Home Ballybay (A75H585) tomorrow Thursday from 4pm until 8pm. Mary’s funeral cortège will travel from her son Barry’s home (Ard Veagh, Ballybay) on Friday morning at 11:40am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballybay for funeral liturgy at 12noon, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2:30pm.

The death has occurred of Dr. Rory O’Hanlon, Mullinary, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan and Mullaghbane, Co Armagh on 31st March 2026. Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his cherished family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael & Anna Mary (Daisy) his sisters, Sr. Deirdre O’Hanlon SSL and Dr. Maeve Smyth.

Rory’s funeral cortège will leave his home on Sunday 5th April, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253 arriving at 11.50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mullaghbane, Co Armagh, BT35 9RA.

Athlunkard Nursing Home, Westbury, Corbally, Co. Clare, formerly of Reparation Convent, Laurel Hill Avenue, South Circular Road, Limerick and Monaghan.

Peacefully in the care of Ailín, SMR Personal Assistants and the staff of Athlunkard Nursing Home, on 1st April 2026.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Agnes and her siblings Kevin, Sean, Ben, Claire, Gabrielle, Dan, Addie, Carmel, James, Tom, Peter, Charlie, Pearse, Una, Dermot and Brendan.

Very deeply regretted by her Reparation Sisters in community, her sister Nuala, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
