Michael (Micky) Farrelly
Lisnagrew, Kilmainhamwood, Meath / Kingscourt, Cavan
The death has occurred of Michael (Micky) Farrelly, Lisnagrew, Kilmainhamwood, Kells, Co. Meath, suddenly but peacefully, at Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, 26th April 2026, in his 95th year, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife May, his parents Larry and Katie, his brother Larry, his sisters Nancy and Maureen, and his grandson Sean.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons Sean (Noreen), Mark (Tess) and Enda, his grandchildren Keith (Grace), Nicole (Evan), (Karen), his great-grandchildren Aaron, Katie, Thomas, Abigail, Freya and Kyra, his sister-in-law Anna, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (A82 R3W2) on Wednesday, 29th April from 3pm to 6pm with Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, arriving for 7pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday, 30th April at 10am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Peter McGowan
Coleman Rd and formerly Drumelis, Cavan Town, Cavan
Peter McGowan, Coleman Rd and formerly Drumelis, Cavan Town, Sunday April 26th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend Margaret, his parents Bridget and John, brothers Paddy, Larry, Johnny and Martin and his infant brother Joseph.
Peter was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his daughter Kerry, Son Connor (Laura), sister Margaret Kane, brother in law Patsy, sister in law Mary, nephew Robert (Geraldine), grand nephew Conán, all his extended family and his many, many friends. May he rest in peace.
Peter will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am , travelling to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 11 O'Clock. Following Mass the cortege will travel to St. Aidan's Cemetery, Butlersbridge for committal prayers and burial. Peter's Funeral Mass will be available to view live on the parish website here.

The death has occurred of Trish (Patricia) O'Rourke.13, Convent View, Carrickmacross. 27th April 2026. Unexpectedly, at her home.
Predeceased by her parents Paddy & Mary.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family; her loving son Keith and her daughter-in-law Juci, her brothers Eugene, Patrick, Michael, Stephen, Christopher & Paul and her sisters Kathleen, Mary-Ellen & Veronica, her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours & friends.
