The death has occurred of Emma Louise Brady, Claddagh, Ballyjamesduff and formerly Clonkeefy, Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, 7th of May 2026, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her baby brother James and her cousin David.

Much loved daughter of Pat and Alice, and much loved sister of Jason (Kelly) and Paddy (Sharon), and much loved partner of Brendan.

Sadly missed by her father, her mother, her brothers, her partner, her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Friday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock.

Removal on Saturday afternoon arriving to St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff, for 2 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House private at all times, please.

Carmel Brady (nee Clarke)

Lakeview, Virginia, Co.Cavan.

The death has occurred of Carmel Brady (née Clarke), Lakeview, Virginia, County Cavan, and late of St. Colmcille Villas, Kells, on the 5th of May 2026 unexpectedly while on holidays in Tenerife.

Beloved partner of Jimmy, cherished mother of Lorna and Helen, and devoted grandmother to Heidi, Caitlin, Evie-Lou and James.

Thursday, May 7th (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family at Lisdarn, Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Joe & Kathleen, brother Jim and nephew Mark.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Seamus, daughter Síle, sons; Jim and Andrew, sisters; Connie, Pauline, Geraldine and Norine, brother Ulty, grandson Oisín, daughter in law Stephanie, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, her many good friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass on Sunday (10th) in St. Brigids Church, Mountnugent at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Ballinacree Cemetery.
