Sunny today with possible thunderstorms this evening

Generally dry and sunny until the evening, when there is the potential for scattered thunderstorms to move up from the south.

While many areas will escape these, where they do hit, there could be severe with lightning and hail.

Top temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees, though a little lower for some eastern coasts due to a mostly moderate easterly breeze.

Clear spells and the potential for further scattered thunderstorms early tonight but it will then become largely dry.

Mild with temperatures not falling below 11 to 16 degrees in light to moderate east or southeast breezes.

Sunny spells tomorrow morning but cloud will continue to build from the southwest bringing patchy light rain, drizzle and mist.

However, there will still be a lot of dry weather and limited sunny spells will break through. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 or 25 degrees. Moderate southeasterly winds will veer southwesterly and will freshen for western coasts.
