Eileen Brady, (née Slowey), Dungonnon, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan died 2nd June 2026, peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Mick and Mary Slowey, infant grandson Daniel, brother Michael, and parents-in-law Patrick and Mary Frances Brady.
Cherished wife of Tommy and adored mother of Ciarán (Megan), Eilish Gray (Anthony), Ollie, Declan (Joy), Paul (Laura), Finbarr (Sinéad), Fergus (Lucy) and Cathal.
Devoted grandmother of Conor, Owen, Lauren, Emily, Joe, Hugo, Conan, Mila, Lennon, Lyra, Clara and Eve. Deeply loved and regretted by brothers Tommy (Annemarie) and Andy (Anna), sister Anna Monaghan (Declan), sisters-in-law Mary Sheridan, Sr. Declan and Kathleen Dunne, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence this Saturday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, with shuttle bus in operation from Bunnoe Community Centre (H16 P031) to/from the family home.
Funeral cortège to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Bunnoe for Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12.00 noon and can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/bunnoe followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Seamus Mc Phillips
Ardlougher, Ballinagh, Cavan
Seamus Mc Phillips, Ardlougher, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Tuesday June 2nd 2026, suddenly at home. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary and his infant brother and sister, Boniface and Rose.
Seamus was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his devoted wife and best friend Christine, his heartbroken daughters Margaret (Eoin), Rose (Gene) and Sarah,his adored grandchildren James, Emily, Adam and Holly, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends.

Seamus will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 11.15am, travelling via Ardlougher, to St. Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon. A private family cremation will take place at a later date.Family flowers only please. House private to family at all times please.

Ashtown, Dublin, D07 DX07 / Walkinstown, Dublin / Emyvale, Monaghan
We are saddened to announce the death of Brian McManus, Ashtown Grove, Dublin, D07 DX07 and formerly Walkinstown, Dublin. Tuesday 2nd June peacefully in the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family.
Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary Mc Kenna (Paddypeter, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan) and his beloved daughters Susie & Catherine, son in law Andy and adored grandson Rowan, his siblings, Charles, Tom, Rosemary, John, Ann, Imelda, David, Margaret and Gerard, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and wide circle of neighbours, friends, former colleagues in Dublin City Council, HSE, Dublin City Harriers and the Irish Athletics community.

Brian's remains will repose at his family home (D07 DX07) on Thursday 4th & Friday 5th June, from 12 Noon to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10am at the Church of Mary Help of Christians, Navan Road. Followed by cremation in Glasnevin Cemetery at 2pm.
