Maureen Hartin (née Sheridan), Portanure, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan. June 4th, 2026, peacefully at Lisdarn Cavan surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Francis, her parents Michael and Agnes Sheridan, her great-granddaughter Florence Holmes, and her nephew Vivian Dowd.

Maureen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Michael, Fergal, Gavin and Cathaldus; her daughter Fionnuala and partner Graham; her daughters-in-law Marian, Lukia and Clare; her sister Ann (Baby) Dowd and her brother Nicholas Sheridan and sister in law Carmel; her adored grandchildren Shannon, Aaron, Nicole, Cian, Eoghan, Yanna, Jasmin, Fionn, Sean, Kyla, Iarlaith, Bláthnaid, Ceanna, Kerra, and great granddaughter Ivy; her extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Maureen was devoted to her family and was held in great affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, warmth and gentle presence will be remembered with love and gratitude by everyone whose lives she touched.

Patrick (Paddy) Grace

Patrick (Paddy) Grace, Killymooney Drive, Cavan Town, Thursday June 4th 2026, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff at Oakview Nursing Home, Belturbet.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (O'Rourke).

Paddy was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by his son Noel (Eileen) and his daughter Katherine (Scott), his adored grandchildren Hugh, Diarmuid and Thomas, all his extended family, former military colleagues and his many friends. May he rest in peace.

Paddy will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Friday evening from 9pm until 10.30pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon at 3.40pm to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan arriving for a Funeral Mass at 4pm. Following Mass burial will take place in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry. Paddy's Funeral Mass can be viewed live on the parish website at www.cavantownparish.com/webcam

Peacefully on Thursday, 4th June 2026 at his home, in the loving care of his devoted wife and best friend Mi-Mi.

Pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Violet and his beloved sisters Evelyn and Muriel.

Tom will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Mi-Mi, his children John, Harriett, Emily, Lauren and Sam, his grandchildren, great-grandchild, sisters Jean and Olive and the entire family circle.

Funeral service in First Ballybay Presbyterian Church, Co.Monaghan, eircode A75 NA48, on Sunday, 7th June at 3pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
