It will remain cool and unsettled throughout today with widespread cloud and frequent outbreaks of rain across the region.
The morning begins wet, with some heavy spells possible and a risk of localized surface flooding in low-lying areas.
Conditions will remain mostly overcast through much of the day, although some brighter intervals may develop later in the afternoon as rain gradually becomes lighter and more scattered.
Temperatures are below average for early June, reaching highs of around 14–16°C and falling to 8–10°C overnight.
Winds will be light to moderate, mainly from the southeast before easing and becoming variable later.
Visibility may be reduced at times in heavier rain. Overall, it will be a damp and rather gloomy day, so waterproof clothing is recommended for anyone spending time outdoors.
